Google can show your website in its search results in two ways:
Free: SEO
Using SEO (Search Engine Optimisation). SEO has two parts:
- SEO On-page: Each page needs a good amount of clear, high-quality content that naturally includes the target search phrases in these places: The text copy, headings, images, meta information, etc…
- SEO Off-page: Get and exchange links from relevant and reputable websites that point to your website
Paid: GOOGLE ADS
Using GOOGLE ADS,a pay-per-click system that basically consists of:
- Choose the search phrases you want to appear for in Google search results
- Set a monthly budget that you feel confortable with, you can start small and adjust anytime
- Google then shows your business at the top of its search results in the “sponsore” area
- You only pay when someone clicks your ad and visits your website
- Main vocabulary:
- Impressions: Number of times that Google has shown your website in the search results
- Clicks: Number of people that have clicked and seen your website out of those impressions
- Avg. CPC: Average Cost Per Click set up by you
- Cost: Price you pay to Google for the number of clicks
